How HealthyVape Reviews and Compares Products

REVIEW METHODOLOGY

A transparent framework for product comparisons,
specification checks and evidence-based recommendations.

TWO DIFFERENT REVIEW TYPES

“Hands-on tested” and “published-information comparison”
are not the same thing.

HealthyVape only describes a product as hands-on tested when the
HealthyVape team actually handled and evaluated that product.

When we compare a product using manufacturer documentation,
public specifications, laboratory reports, government sources
or other published information, we describe it as a
published-information comparison.

Important distinction

Inclusion in a buying guide does not automatically mean
HealthyVape personally used, purchased or laboratory-tested
every product in that guide.

OUR WORKFLOW

How a comparison is built

01

Identify the user question

We start with the decision the reader is trying to make:
product type, nicotine status, format, transparency,
ingredients or another comparison criterion.

02

Find primary sources

We prioritize official product pages, current labels,
public laboratory reports, technical documents,
government information and original documentation.

03

Separate source types

Manufacturer claims, retailer listings, laboratory evidence
and scientific sources are recorded as different evidence types.

04

Check current specifications

We review relevant details such as nicotine labeling,
rated puff count, charging, device format, ingredients,
price and current availability.

05

Compare on the same criteria

A HealthyVape product does not receive a different evidence
standard simply because we sell it.

06

Date the review

Important guides include a last-reviewed or evidence-checked
date because products and public information change.

WHAT WE CHECK

Common comparison dimensions

Nicotine status

0mg, 0%, nicotine-free and “no added nicotine” wording
are recorded carefully rather than treated as identical.

Laboratory transparency

When testing is published we look for the laboratory,
tested sample, method, result and meaningful detection
or reporting information.

Ingredient disclosure

We distinguish specific disclosed ingredients from broad
lifestyle or wellness language.

Hardware specifications

Rated puffs, charging method and hardware features are
treated as product specifications rather than guaranteed
real-world outcomes.

Price

Price is recorded as a time-specific observation.
Promotions, taxes, shipping and availability can change.

Claims restraint

We consider whether marketing language goes beyond what
current product information or evidence can establish.

RANKINGS

Why we avoid fake precision

HealthyVape generally avoids arbitrary scores such as
9.3/10 when the underlying evidence cannot support that
level of mathematical precision.

We prefer specific conclusions such as
“stronger public lab transparency,”
“higher published capacity,” or
“manufacturer information only.”

PRODUCT ACCESS

What happens when we have not used a product?

If HealthyVape has not personally handled a competing product,
we may still include it in a published-information comparison
when reliable public information is available.

In that situation we do not describe subjective qualities such
as flavor quality, draw feel, comfort or real-world battery life
as personal observations.

Those details require genuine first-hand use or clearly attributed
third-party evidence.
