How HealthyVape corrects factual errors, updates changing
product information and handles material changes to evidence.
OUR STANDARD
Accuracy matters more than preserving an old conclusion.
Product specifications, prices, availability, formulations,
public reports and scientific evidence can change.
When HealthyVape identifies a meaningful error or receives
stronger information, we update the page rather than leaving
a statement in place simply because it was previously published.
Minor update
Typographical corrections, formatting changes or wording
improvements that do not change the factual conclusion.
Specification update
Changes to price, availability, puff count, product status,
flavor lineup or other time-sensitive product information.
Material correction
A correction that changes a meaningful factual statement,
evidence rating, comparison result or health-related conclusion.
MATERIAL CORRECTIONS
When a correction changes the meaning of a page
If an error materially changes a conclusion, product status,
evidence classification or other important fact, the page should
be updated promptly once the corrected information is sufficiently
verified.
Where useful to readers, the updated page may include an explicit
note identifying the material change.
If a product previously described only from manufacturer 0mg
labeling later receives a public independent nicotine test,
the evidence classification may change. The new evidence should
be dated and explained rather than silently treated as if it had
always existed.
What we recheck when product information changes
Product identity
Model name, product URL, series assignment and whether the
product remains current.
Nicotine status
Current labeling and any stronger evidence that has become
available since the previous review.
Specifications
Rated puff count, charging method, device format and other
manufacturer specifications used in comparisons.
Evidence links
Whether source documents remain available and still support
the statement being made.
REPORTING AN ERROR
How to flag a possible correction
Readers, brands and other interested parties may report a possible
factual error using the contact information published on
HealthyVape’s Contact page.
A correction request should identify the page, the statement in
question and the strongest available source supporting the change.
A request from a brand does not automatically result in a change.
We evaluate the evidence supplied and update the page when the
correction is supported.
Corrections are part of authority, not a failure of authority.
Products and evidence change. A site that never updates a
conclusion is not necessarily more accurate.
HealthyVape’s goal is to keep important consumer information
current and to make material uncertainty visible.
